Ideally candidates for this role will fit the following requirements:

• Ability to travel to client site as required
• Highly developed understanding of the importance of school improvement service
• Comfortable working with a minimum of direct supervision.

Special School Consultants

Special School Advisor to deliver ASP and/or FFTAspire training across Special Schools Nationally

We are looking for a Special School Adviser to deliver ASP and/or FFTAspire training nationwide. The role will be to deliver ASP and/or FFTAspiretraining courses to primary and/or secondary special schools.

Ideally candidates for this role will fit the following requirements:

• Good knowledge of ASP and/or FFTAspire
• Ideally, teaching experience in ASP and/or FFTAspire products
• School improvement experience with the ability to train, coach and upskill others in Special School environments
• Demonstrated ability to lead and innovate with regard to the development of effective policy, best practice and resources in Special Schools to support students with specific and multiple areas of need
• Ability to demonstrate and/or give guidance in classroom management techniques in Special Schools
• Specialist knowledge of theory, research and practice relating to a broad range of disabilities and their implications for teaching and learning in Special Schools
• Provide effective, efficient Special School advisory services in accordance with the goals, objectives and policies of DfE and OFSTED
• Good knowledge of education software used for Monitoring, Tracking and Assessment in Special Schools and interpreting results eg CASPA etc
• Develop, or assist to develop, plan and implement in-service training modules for teachers, school management teams
• Comfortable working with a minimum of direct supervision.
• Ability to travel to client site as required
