The SEN Consultancy and Training Package will focus on sharing the best policy and practice in SEN provision. You will examine Key Messages and Ofsted expectations for SEN Education.

The training session aims to provide excellent advice on the Roles and Responsibilities of SEN Coordinators and the best methods for Evaluating SEN provision and building an excellent bank of evidence to demonstrate Impact and Overall Effectiveness in Ofsted terms.

The training will support all school stakeholders to monitor, evaluate and review SEN policy and practice to support school improvement.


The training course also covers SEN leadership and Management, classroom management and practical ways to monitor and assess SEN provision in line with the SEN Code of Practice and Ofsted expectations and judgement criteria.

The training session will also focus on the learning characteristics and needs of SEN learners and aims to help teachers identify SEN pupils and review classroom teaching and learning strategies. The training will also include practical classroom strategies for intervention and support.

The CPD training will also provide you with numerous SEN resources, e-formation and guidance notes to support your school, Senior Management Team, SEN Co-ordinators, teaching staff, Governors and SEN learners.

Using Personalised Learning and OFSTED criteria the training course also aims to share Ofsted aspects of outstanding practice for SEN learners.
